Check an applicant's income proof
The applicant shares a proof from their CommBank app. It shows their income is at least the amount you need. You never see the actual figure.
Point the camera at the QR code in the applicant's app.
What is checked
- The maths. A zero-knowledge proof (Groth16) that the income behind a sealed commitment is at least the threshold.
- The source. The commitment is signed by the bank's data pod, which calculated income from Consumer Data Right banking data.
- Freshness. The signature is recent.
